Sites Page
The Sites Page is where you will spend most of your time. On the left you see a list of web sites. You can divide these sites into easy to manage Groups. On the right side you see the information for the selected web site.
Groups:
There are three default groups:
All Items - contains all web sites you have stored in Adwizard.
To Do - shows all web sites that require posting your advertisement.
Trash - a recycle bin for web sites you have deleted.
You can right click on the group list to pop up a menu where you can create a new group, rename an existing group, or delete a group. To share groups with other people, you can also Save a group to a file, or Load a group from a file.
Web Sites:
This shows a list of web sites in the selected group. Right click on the list to pop up a menu where you can create a new site, rename an existing site, or delete a site. You can also search for a specific site with the Find and Find Next functions and you can organize your sites by adding or moving them to Groups.
You can easily add a new site by dragging it from your browser onto the Site List.
A small alarm clock will show next to the site if it is time for you to post your advertisment there. A green check mark indicates you have recently posted your ad there. A red X indicated the item is in the Trash folder.
Click on a web site in the list to show the information for the site:
Web Site URL:
This is the web site address for the selected site. You can click the up/down arrow in the Web Site URL header to hide/show the URL.
Repeat (Days):
This is the number of days between the times you can post your advertisement on a site. For example, if a site states you are only allowed to post an ad once a week, set this number to 7 days.
Last Submitted:
This shows the date you last submitted an advertisement to the web site. This information is automatically updated when you click the Done button. (See below)
Times Submitted:
This shows how many times you have posted your advertisement on the web site. This information is automatically updated when you click the Done button. (See below)
Rules & Comments:
You can add your own information here that is important for the web site.
New Button:
Click to create an entry for a new web site. You will be asked for a name for the site. You can also create a new entry by dragging it from your browser onto the Site List.
Delete Button:
Click to move the selected site to the Trash folder, this will not actually delete the site. If you delete a site from the Trash folder, it will actually be deleted.
Go-to Button:
Click to go to the URL specified for the web site.
Done Button:
Click to update the "Last Submitted" and "Times Submitted" information after you posted your advertisement on the web site.
Next Button:
Click to find the next web site that needs your ad posted.
Help Button:
Click to display this help file.
Type Button:
Adwizard can fill out a web site form by typing the information just like you would. Before you can use this function, you must first enter the infrmation you want it to type. Right click on the Type button and select Edit from the pop up menu to enter the information. Please see the Type Function section for more information on how to use it.
